Nel complesso buone. Appena ricevute mi hanno deluso per il suono non all'altezza, poi procedendo col rodaggio sono molto migliorate e adesso mi soddisfano abbastanza. Sono praticissime nell'uso avendo anche la connessione wifi e quindi potendosi collegare alle app direttamente: maggiore praticità d'uso e suono migliore. Forse mancano un pò nei bassi, sto pensando di aggiungere un subwoofer ma lo sconto primo ordine è scaduto.😊 Ci mediterò sopra.

Ich habe mich von meiner Soundbar verabschiedet und ein neues Sterosystem gesucht. Natürlich im Netz recherchiert und bin auf Argon Audio gestossen. Und siehe da, stand heute: "absolut eine richtige Entscheidung" !! Gekauft habe ich die FORTE A55 MK2 Aktivlautsprecher in schwarz Mattlack. Angefangen mit der Verpackung, welche besser nicht sein könnte. Die Lautsprecher eine Augenweide. Sehr gut verarbeitet, sehr gut beschichtet. Der schwarze Mattlack ist sehr schön und ich denke in weiß wäre es genau so. Sie sind nicht so wuchtig wie andere Lautsprecher und wirken dadurch sehr edel. Anschließend aufstellen und anschliessen. Der erste Eindruck "richtig easy". Jetzt nach einer Woche voll im Einsatz haben sie sich schon sehr gut eingespielt. Ich bin begeister von der Tonqualität, mit welcher ich anfänglich ein paar Hördifferenzen hatte. Ich wollte das Klangbild noch etwas verändern, welches aber so nicht möglich und auch nicht gewollt ist. Der Daniel vom Argon Support war mir des öffteren eine sehr große Hilfe in der Beratung warum und weshalb das so ist. Auch was die Einstellungen betrifft hatte "Er" die perfekten Ratschläge. Nachdem ich das ganze System auch verstanden habe, genieße ich nun die volle Leistungsfähigkeit des Musik- und Filmgenuss. Vermutlich war es auch die Umstellung von Soundbar auf Stereosystem. Mittlerweile habe ich mir auch noch den passenden Subwoofer inklusive der dazugehörigen Kabel bei Argon Audio gekauft. Jetzt wird der Eine oder Andere sagen: "Kabelgebunden" ??? Aber mein Fazit: "Besser wahrgenommen als Bluethooth und WiFi" Alles in allem: Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so viel Musik laufen und gehört wie seit dem Kauf. Klasse und Danke. 😇

Audio molto buono, ottima la possibilità di passare da connessione cavo/bluetooth alla TV, ad ascolto musica da cellulare, a giradischi, il tutto in pochissimo tempo. Imballaggio della spedizione veramente ottimo! Spedizione veloce. Unica pecca, ma magari sbaglio qualcosa io, dopo un po' la connessione bluetooth salta da connessione alla TV, bisognerebbe togliere l'impostazione di risparmio energetico ma non si riesce ed anche seguendo le indicazioni del manuale non si toglie. Collegando però le casse tramite cavo HDMI alla TV, la connessione è sempre presente molto stabile e l'audio ottimo per cui alla fine ho preferito questa soluzione. Esteticamente prodotti molto belli il che non guasta.

They lack of body, they need to be quite a lot boosted below 150-200 hz and slightly reduced around 2-3k hz because the presence is a little bit too much, innatural. The tweeter is maybe too efficient compared to the woofers. Still waiting, listening more, before to decide. Tuned they sound fine but I would prefer to not tune them. My expectations were quite higher after having read many extremely positive comments. I’ll wait end next week to decide.

Habe mich nach unzähligen Test, Videos und Hörproben für die Argon Forte A55 MK2 entschieden. In Preis/Leistung sind diese Standlautsprecher absolut unschlagbar. Klare Höhen, ausreichend Bass und das sowohl beim leise hören, als auch bei erhöhten Lautstärken. Habe dafür meine alten, jedoch geliebten IQ TED 4 Lautsprecher „geopfert“. Brauche nun keinen Verstärker mehr und habe somit auch weniger Kabel-Wirrwar herumliegen. Die Argon Forte A55 MK2 machen wirklich einfach alles so gut… mehr braucht man nicht um Musik und Film/Kinosound zu genießen. Von mir ganz klar fünf ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

They sound clear and I hope the next model will have physical buttons like the volume button , select buttons and power on/off button on top of the cabinet for easy access in case you can’t find the remote control. I also hope that you will add an ethernet port, a dedicated WiFi button for easy access to chromecast audio and airplay 2 without having to first install a control app and a usb c port for high resolution audio from a smartphone, tablet or computer. Finally if you choose the same design, I hope it will be a 2,5 way design for a better sound.

Les enceintes sont magnifiques. Elles sont certes petites mais la finition est impeccable. Connectiques et fonctionnalités, rien a signaler, tout fonctionne correctement. Concernant le son, compte tenu de la taille des deux woofers, il y a une predominance des mediums. Il faut equaliser en augmentant les basses et diminuer les mediums afin de rendre l'écoute plus harmonieuse. Sinon la qualité sonore est impressionnante. Le seul point négatif est justement la taille des woofers, 5" c'est petit et c'est surtout les sons de batterie et non les basses qui sont moins percutants. Ajouter un caisson de basse sera nécessaire.

Le streaming wifi manque de fluidité avec des micro coupures lors du début de lecture. La latence entre le lancement du streaming depuis le périphérique et le début de la musique est également beaucoup plus long que sur ma barre de son Bose. Je l'avais acheté en grande partie pour cette fonctionnalité. Le son est très bon par ailleurs. Même si encore en rodage.

Eine wirklich tolle Anlage, ich nutze sie in einem 45 Quadratmeter großen Raum zum Musik hören und bin damit absolut zufrieden. Ich überlege im Moment ob ich sie noch mit einem Subwoofer -Sub 10 oder 8- ergänze um die Lautsprecher etwas zu entlasten und den Bass bei manchen Songs zu optimieren. Alles Plattenspieler nutze ich den Argon Audio TT4 MK2, das Teil ist der Hammer mit Ortophon Blue. Der Unterschied zur Ortophon Red war für mich gigantisch. Beim Probe hören im HiFi Klubben Store nahm ich einen warmen und umhüllenden Sound im Gegensatz zur Red war, da fragt man sich schon was die Bronze oder Black dann kann:-))

J’ai récemment fait l’acquisition des enceintes Argon Audio Forte pour une pièce d’environ 25 m², et je dois dire que je suis bluffé par leur performance. Le design est à la fois sobre et élégant, avec une belle finition bois qui s’intègre parfaitement dans un intérieur contemporain. Côté son, c’est une vraie surprise : la scène sonore est large, les médiums sont chaleureux, les aigus détaillés sans être agressifs, et les basses sont bien présentes sans jamais être envahissantes (surtout en complément d’un caisson). Le fait qu’elles soient actives est un vrai plus : pas besoin d’ampli externe, tout est intégré, avec une connectique complète (optique, RCA, Bluetooth aptX, etc.) qui les rend très polyvalentes pour écouter aussi bien des vinyles que du streaming ou des vidéos . La télécommande fournie est simple et efficace ( dommage de ne pas avoir celle en métal ) et l’ensemble dégage une vraie impression de qualité. En résumé, les Argon Forte offrent un son audiophile, une grande simplicité d’utilisation et un excellent rapport qualité/prix. Je les recommande sans hésiter à ceux qui veulent un système hi-fi moderne, design et performant, sans se ruiner.

Je complète mon premier avis diffusé le 19/03/2025.... J'ai abandonné le Bluetooth pour raccorder mes enceintes en RCA (SKW) à un DAC FOSI Audio Q6 lui-même raccordé à mon ordinateur en USB-C... Adepte des enceintes amplifiées, après mon achat, j'ai attendu environ deux mois de rodage pour donner mon avis concernant ces enceintes colonne qui me donnent entière satisfaction. J'écoute quotidiennement de la musique principalement en dématérialisé (Deezer). Bien sur les audiophiles exigeants peuvent être dubitatifs mais les sons clair, médium et grave sont équilibrés et me conviennent; Néanmoins, sans oublier d'ajouter un caisson de basse voir deux (un pour chaque enceinte) ce que j'ai fait. 3 voies amplifiées avec un diamètre plus important pour la gamelle de grave serait évidemment le plus. J'ai pris le temps de les placer au mieux dans ma pièce de vie (36 m²), écartées de 2.50 mètres environ, orientées (triangle équilatéral ou isocèle comme il vous convient), posées et inclinées légèrement vers l'arrière sur des mousses acoustiques pour les surélever de 5 centimètres. Le rapport qualité/prix est réel et l'image "sonore" stéréo est vraiment très sympa. Je ne suis pas sur que 2x160 watts soit vraiment nécessaire. Pouvoir régler la présence des sons graves et clair ou médium haut/bas sur l'enceinte amplifiée serait vraiment un plus. En résumée, pour améliorer je verrai bien une enceinte trois voies amplifiées avec des haut-parleurs adéquats + un réglage pour creuser ou augmenter les médiums en fonction de la musique que l'on écoute ou de son mastering (années 60, 70, 80, 90, 2000, tous différents). Qu'en pensez-vous? Dans tous les cas, je suis satisfait de mon achat... :) PS: la photo n'est vraiment pas terrible

What do A4, A5, and A55 mean?
The number is the woofer size.
A4 has a 4" woofer (compact, ideal for bedrooms/desks/TVs).
A5 has a 5" woofer (fuller sound, medium rooms).
A55 is a floor-standing pair with 2 x 5" woofers, for living rooms and room-filling bass.

Can I connect a turntable directly to the speakers?

Yes. FORTE WIFI speakers feature both a dedicated PHONO input and a standard AUX input, making them compatible with virtually any turntable - no additional equipment required.

Choose the correct input depending on your turntable:

Turntable without a built-in phono preamplifier (RIAA) → Connect it directly to the PHONO input.
Turntable with a built-in phono preamplifier (RIAA) → Set the turntable to RIAA ON (or LINE) and connect it to the AUX input.

Recommended settings for Argon Audio turntables

TT-3 and TT SIGNATURE: Connect to the PHONO input.

Can I connect these speakers to my TV?

Yes. FORTE WIFI speakers are an excellent alternative to a soundbar, delivering true stereo sound with a wider soundstage and more natural audio for movies, TV shows, music, and gaming.

Simply connect your TV using HDMI ARC, and the speakers will automatically turn on and off with your TV. You can also control the volume using your TV remote, giving you the same everyday convenience as a soundbar—combined with the superior sound quality of a dedicated stereo speaker system.

To ensure proper audio playback, set your TV's digital audio output to PCM (Stereo). FENRIS speakers are designed for two-channel audio and do not support Dolby Digital, DTS, or other surround sound formats. If your TV is set to output one of these formats, you may experience no sound or other audio issues.

Can I connect a subwoofer to these speakers?

Yes. FENRIS speakers feature dedicated PRE OUT outputs, making it easy to add an active subwoofer for deeper, more powerful bass and an even more immersive listening experience.

For the simplest setup, we recommend the FENRIS Subwoofer Connect Kit, which includes everything you need to connect your speakers to a compatible subwoofer quickly and easily.

Can I stream music via Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, AirPlay, Google Cast, or Spotify Connect?

Yes. FORTE WIFI offers the widest range of wireless streaming options in the FORTE series.

You can stream music via:

With built-in Wi-Fi streaming, you can play music directly from your favourite streaming services without relying on a Bluetooth connection. You can also stream from compatible apps on your phone, tablet, or computer using AirPlay 2 or Google Cast.

How do I connect my phone to the speakers via Bluetooth?

Turn on the speakers.
Press the BT button to go to the Bluetooth input.
Press and hold the PAIRING button on the remote for about 3 seconds, until the LED starts blinking. The speakers are now in pairing mode.
Open the Bluetooth settings on your device.
Select ARGON FORTE WIFI from the list of available devices.
Tap Pair. When connected, the speaker's LED will turn solid blue.

What are active speakers?

At Argon Audio, active speakers are designed to deliver true hi-fi sound without the complexity of a traditional separates system.

Unlike passive speakers, which require an external amplifier, our active speakers have the amplifier built in. This allows you to connect sources such as a TV, turntable, smartphone, computer, or streamer directly to the speakers for a simple, space-saving setup.

What is the difference between active and passive speakers?

The main difference is that active speakers have a built-in amplifier, while passive speakers require an external amplifier to power them.

At Argon Audio, our FENRIS, FORTE, and STUDIE 3 series are active speakers. They combine the amplifier, drivers, crossover, and DSP (Digital Signal Processing) into a single, carefully tuned system. Because every component is designed to work together, the amplifier is perfectly matched to the drivers, resulting in optimized performance, excellent sound quality, and a simple plug-and-play setup.

Active speakers can be connected directly to sources such as TVs, turntables, smartphones, computers, streamers, and CD players, eliminating the need for a separate amplifier and reducing both clutter and setup time.

Our FORUS series consists of passive speakers. These speakers require an external amplifier or AV receiver to provide power and manage audio sources. This approach offers greater flexibility, allowing you to choose, upgrade, or replace your amplifier independently as your system evolves.

For stereo music systems, FORUS speakers pair perfectly with stereo amplifiers such as the SA1 MK2 or SA2. If you're planning to build a home cinema system with surround sound (5.1, 7.1, or more), you'll need a compatible AV receiver instead of a stereo amplifier.

Which should you choose?

If you're looking for the simplest, smartest all-in-one solution with exceptional sound quality and minimal setup, active speakers are the ideal choice. If you prefer maximum flexibility, enjoy upgrading individual components, or plan to build a surround sound home cinema system, passive speakers may be the better fit.

What is the difference between bookshelf and floorstanding speakers?

The main differences are size, bass performance, and output capability.

The FENRIS A4 and A5 are bookshelf speakers featuring a 2-way design with one woofer and one tweeter. The A5 uses a larger woofer, allowing it to deliver deeper bass and higher output than the A4.

The FENRIS A55 is a floorstanding speaker featuring two woofers and one tweeter. The additional woofer and larger cabinet help it produce deeper bass, greater dynamics, and higher volume levels, making it particularly well suited for larger rooms.

All three models offer the same connectivity and features. The best choice depends on your room size, available space, and how much bass and output you want.

Can I add more speakers to my pair of active speakers?

No. Our active speaker systems are designed as dedicated stereo pairs, consisting of one left and one right speaker.

They do not support adding additional speakers for surround sound, multi-channel audio, or expanding the stereo setup. If you are looking for a simple and high-quality two-channel listening experience, active stereo speakers are an excellent choice.

How far should the speakers be placed from the wall?

As a general rule, we recommend placing your speakers 10–30 cm (4–12 inches) from the rear wall. This usually provides a good balance between bass performance, soundstage, and clarity.

Placing speakers closer to the wall will typically increase bass output, while moving them further into the room can improve imaging and reduce bass coloration.

The ideal distance depends on the speaker model, room acoustics, and your personal preferences. If possible, experiment with different positions to find the sound that works best in your room.

Do I need a separate amplifier or receiver?

No. That's the whole point of active speakers - FENRIS, FORTE MK2, FORTE WIFI, and STUDIE 3 all have amplification built in, so you can connect your TV, turntable, phone, or computer directly with no separate amplifier required.

That means a smaller footprint, one less box to buy, and fewer cables to manage, without compromising on sound quality.
