You can connect the AURORA directly to a pair of active (powered) speakers or to an amplifier/receiver with passive speakers. An RCA cable is included for easy connection.

The AURORA features a built-in phono preamplifier (RIAA) that can be switched ON or OFF using the switch on the rear panel.

No. This turntable does not feature Bluetooth connectivity and is designed for a wired audio connection.

It connects via the included RCA cable, allowing the analog audio signal to be sent directly to an amplifier, a pair of active speakers, or an external phono preamplifier.

Bluetooth audio requires the analog signal from the turntable to be converted into a digital signal before it can be transmitted wirelessly. While modern Bluetooth codecs can deliver excellent sound quality, wireless transmission still involves digital processing and compression.

By using a wired RCA connection, this turntable preserves the original analog signal path and avoids unnecessary signal processing, providing the most faithful vinyl listening experience.

Unlike our main-line models, which follow a simple numbering system, the AURORA got its own name because it does things differently. It's built around a bigger focus on design and ease of use, while still keeping the performance and value-for-money approach Argon Audio is known for. That shows up in details like the direct drive motor, an internal power supply (just one cable to connect), and an end-stop function that automatically stops the platter when your record finishes. It's a turntable designed to look and feel modern, without asking you to compromise on sound.

AURORA is the first turntable in our lineup to use a direct drive system, where the motor drives the platter directly instead of using a belt. This makes setup easier and results in a very speed-stable, low noise motor that keeps the record spinning with minimal wow, flutter, or other speed-related distortion. AURORA is built for home hifi use, giving you the stability of direct drive with the sound quality serious listeners expect.

AURORA comes fitted with an Ortofon Concorde Music Blue cartridge, the same high-quality needle used in the 2M Blue on our TT-4 MK2, known for detailed and balanced sound. But sound isn't just about the needle. AURORA is heavier, rubber-dampened aluminium platter and thicker MDF plinth make it more resonance-free and inert than our other models. As a result, its sound quality matches, and arguably exceeds, our higher-tier TT-4 Special Edition, thanks to its sturdier construction. It also includes a built-in phono preamp, so you can connect it directly to any system with an analog input, no separate preamp required

This turntable is compatible with Concorde style pickups. As it is fitted with the Ortofon Concorde Music Blue, we recommend you use a stylus or replacement pickup from the Ortofon Music series. All styluses within the Ortofon Concorde Music series are compatible with the cartridge so you can choose any replacement stylus, preferably starting with the Concorde Music Blue for the same performance, or the Concorde Music Bronze, Black or Black LBV250 for better sound performance. 

While AURORA is technically compatible with the Ortofon Concorde MKII DJ and Ortofon Concorde 5 series pickups, you will not achieve equal or better sound quality than with the prefitted Ortofon Concorde Music Blue. 

The headshell is a standard SME-mount so, it is possible to exchange it for a conventional headshell and fit a wide range of pickups. Make sure that both the specifications of the headshell and pickup are in compliance with the technical requirements of the AURORA.

   DHL Returns: Once your return parcel reaches DHL's parcel center in Neumünster, Germany, it is typically received at our Danish headquarters within a few days.
   
   PostNord Returns (Scandinavia only): Parcels are delivered directly to our headquarters in Denmark.
