Buongiorno il giradischi penso sia di buona qualità, anche se il coperchio di plastica trasparente ha le cerniere di congiunzione con la base un po' rigide. Quando lo alzo o lo abbasso fa un rumoraccio e si incastra un po' tanto che mi sposta la testina dal disco e questo potrebbe rovinare sia la puntina che il disco. Penso che dobbiate migliorare la qualità delle cerniere che uniscono il coperchio trasparente alla base del giradischi, rendendole più fluide e meno precarie. Inoltre trovo un po' precario sotto la base un unico appoggio posteriore, mentre davanti la base ha due piedini molto più solidi e sicuri. Anche questo è un elemento che mi ha lasciato un po' perplesso, per il resto mi sembra tutto ok. Distinti saluti

We are very happy indeed to acquire ARGON AUDIO turntable TT MK2. Connected to the loudspeakers GRUNDIG PROFESSIONAL SUPER-HIFI BOX 450 in perfect condition (from the year 1976 !!), through the ARGON AUDIO amplifier SA1 MK2, the TT MK2 indeed sounded very pleasant and warm to us , though somewhat lacking clarity and persuasiveness (our evaluation is somwhere between 3 and 4 stars). We are well aware that TT MK2 is an entry level hi-fi turntable, so in the future we will at least try to upgrade to elliptical stylus, or even perhaps to change whole cartridge if possible, because TT MK2 does not have antiskating adjustment. Until then we are happy and enjoy in the sound of TT MK2 as it is!

FAQ

How do I connect this turntable to speakers?

You can connect the TT MK2 directly to a pair of active (powered) speakers or to an amplifier/receiver with passive speakers. An RCA cable is included for easy connection.

This TT MK2 features a built-in phono preamplifier (RIAA) that can be switched ON or OFF using the switch on the rear panel.

Choose the correct setting depending on your setup:

RIAA OFF → Connect the TT MK2 to a PHONO input.
RIAA ON → Connect the TT MK2 to an AUX, LINE IN, or any other line-level input.

For Argon Audio active speakers or amplifiers

If you're using an Argon Audio amplifier or a pair of Argon Audio active speakers with a PHONO input, we recommend setting the turntable's RIAA to OFF and connecting it to the PHONO input. The built-in phono stage in these products uses higher-quality components than the turntable's internal preamplifier, delivering the best possible sound quality.

Does this turntable have a built-in phono preamp (RIAA)?

Yes. This turntable features a built-in phono preamplifier (RIAA) that can be switched ON or OFF using the switch on the rear panel.

Choose the correct setting for your setup:

RIAA ON → Connect the turntable to an AUX, LINE IN, or any other line-level input on an amplifier or a pair of active speakers.
RIAA OFF → Connect the turntable to a PHONO input or to an external phono preamplifier.

Can I connect this turntable via Bluetooth?

No. This turntable does not feature Bluetooth connectivity and is designed for a wired audio connection.

It connects via the included RCA cable, allowing the analog audio signal to be sent directly to an amplifier, a pair of active speakers, or an external phono preamplifier.

Bluetooth audio requires the analog signal from the turntable to be converted into a digital signal before it can be transmitted wirelessly. While modern Bluetooth codecs can deliver excellent sound quality, wireless transmission still involves digital processing and compression.

By using a wired RCA connection, this turntable preserves the original analog signal path and avoids unnecessary signal processing, providing the most faithful vinyl listening experience.

How do I set up the turntable for the first time?

Setting up the TT MK2 only takes a few minutes:

Place the turntable on a stable, level surface.
Remove all packaging materials and transport protection.
Insert the sub-platter into the spindle located in the center of the turntable.
Remove the protective packaging from the tonearm and cartridge.
Loop the drive belt around the sub-platter.
Carefully place the main platter onto the sub-platter.
Place the slip mat on top of the platter.
Carefully remove the cartridge protection cap.
Gently push and rotate the counterweight onto the rear of the tonearm.
Lower the tonearm lift and position the cartridge between the tonearm rest and the platter.
Carefully rotate the counterweight until the tonearm is balanced and level. The tonearm should now "float" horizontally.
Return the tonearm to its rest and secure it.
Without moving the counterweight itself, rotate the tracking force scale ring until the "0" aligns with the reference line on the tonearm.
Now rotate both the counterweight and the scale ring together towards the tonearm pivot to apply the correct tracking force.
The recommended tracking force for the factory-fitted cartridge is 2.5–3.5 g. Since the scale only goes up to 2 g, continue rotating the counterweight by an additional 0.5–1.5 g.
Carefully install the dust cover onto the hinge mounts.
Connect the turntable to your amplifier or active speakers using the included RCA cable or an equivalent cable.
Set the built-in RIAA switch to match your setup:
ON if connecting to an AUX, LINE IN, or other line-level input.
OFF if connecting to a PHONO input or an external phono preamplifier.
Connect the power supply.
Turn on the turntable using the power switch on the rear panel.
