There’s something special about listening to vinyl. The anticipation before the first track starts playing, where all you hear is the stylus, the warmth of the sound, the feeling of being fully present with your music. Vinyl is as much about sound quality as it is about a lifestyle – and at the heart of this lifestyle is the turntable.
A turntable is much more than the sum of its parts. Each component is vital, but it’s in the interaction between them that the magic happens. When everything works together, you get a calm sound, more detail, and more presence in the music.
Which turntable you pick depends on loads of different factors. In this guide, we’ll give you an overview of all our TTs and help you find the one that best fits your listening habits, so you can get the most out of your beloved vinyl collection.

TT MK2: Entry-level made easy
If you’re looking for an easy way into the world of vinyl, look no further than the TT MK2.
It’s a true plug-and-play turntable that’s ready to spin straight out of the box. With a pre-mounted Audio-Technica pickup and built-in RIAA preamp, you’ll be up and running in minutes; all you need is a pair of active speakers or an amplifier/speaker combo.
The TT MK2 gives you an authentic taste of the vinyl experience without breaking the bank. It’s the perfect starting point for anyone who wants to explore the ritual of spinning records and discover what makes analogue sound so captivating.
If you’re more of a casual listener who values style and simplicity, TT MK2 is the perfect fit.
However, if you’re already deep into hi-fi or plan to upgrade your cartridge down the road, you might want to look higher up in the range.

TT-3: An authentic analogue experience
The TT-3 is built with a focus on sound quality. Compared to the TT MK2, you get a sturdier plinth and a solid aluminium platter that lowers unwanted resonances for a cleaner, more stable sound. The aluminium tonearm provides precise tracking, and at the end of it sits a pre-mounted Ortofon OM5e pickup – a classic, trusted cartridge for detailed playback.
The OM5e’s elliptical stylus digs deeper into the grooves of your records compared to the spherical stylus on TT MK2, which means it extracts more musical detail and nuance. As a result, you’ll hear more of the details in the music stored on your records.
And since TT-3 has adjustable anti-skating, it’s easy to upgrade your cartridge later on. This is perfect if you plan to refine your setup as your collection (and obsession) grows.
There’s no unnecessary equipment here. Unlike TT MK2, TT-3 doesn’t include a built-in RIAA. That means every penny goes toward better sound, not extra convenience. However, if you’re planning on pairing it with one of our active speakers or amplifiers, you can simply use the phono included in those.
So, if you’re a music fan ready to move past entry-level gear and possibly looking to upgrade your setup in the future, TT-3 is perfect for you.

TT-3 PLUS: Where real hi-fi begins
We often call TT-3 PLUS your gateway to high-quality vinyl sound, and for good reason.
In terms of build, the tonearm has been upgraded to carbon fibre – an extremely light and rigid material that helps reduce unwanted resonances and vibrations. TT-3 PLUS also features our proprietary ATS technology, which is a small slit on the underside of the tonearm that minimizes resonances even further, giving you a cleaner, more natural listening experience. We’ve also added rubber damping to the platter to reduce vibrations.
The cartridge has been upgraded to the Ortofon 2M Red, part of the legendary 2M series known for bringing life and detail to every record. The 2M Red’s elliptical stylus extracts even more information from the groove than the styli on both the TT MK2 and TT-3.
TT-3 PLUS also includes a built-in RIAA preamp – and this one’s much better than the one in TT MK2 – making it plug-and-play with almost any setup.
If you’re ready to get serious about hi-fi or already have a proper system and need a great turntable to match, TT-3 PLUS could be the one. It’s high-quality, upgradable, easy to integrate, and gives much more expensive turntables a run for their money.

TT-4 MK2: Complete, serious hi-fi
TT-4 MK2 is where vinyl playback gets seriously refined. Multiple parts have been upgraded for precision and depth. The overall build has taken a step up with a much heavier plinth and improved damping feet for minimum resonances. Overall, the build is sturdy, heavy, and solid.
The tonearm is still carbon fibre, but this one comes fitted with the Ortofon 2M Blue, a cartridge loved by audiophiles for its open, dynamic sound. This stylus is still strictly elliptical but has a much “pointier” shape than the 2M Red, retrieving more details and intricacies from your records.
The built-in RIAA preamp has been upgraded, and it can be switched off whenever you want to use an external one – ideal if you’re building a more advanced setup.
We’ve also changed the base of the tonearm, so we now have a feature called VTA (vertical tracking angle), which means you can adjust the tonearm height. This gives you the option to change cartridges more freely to ones that have different designs.
TT-4 MK2 is made for listeners who want full hi-fi sound and timeless Scandinavian design in one elegant package. People who really appreciate the intricate details of music and are looking for a turntable that looks and sounds good for years to come.

TT-4 Special Edition: Luxury vinyl sound
The TT-4 Special Edition was created to celebrate our first-ever EISA Award, and when we celebrate at Argon Audio, we go big.
At the heart of the upgrade is the Ortofon 2M Bronze cartridge, featuring a Fine Line-shaped stylus. This stylus is also elliptical but with an even more V-shaped tip reaching deeper into the grooves of your vinyl. The result is a pickup that reveals details other styluses can’t – and in some cases even breathes new life into worn records by reaching untouched parts of the groove, if you’ve previously used more spherical styli. The elongated, pointy shape also gives it a larger contact surface that reduces wear on both record and needle.
We’ve also fitted better damping feet for improved isolation, upgraded silver tonearm wiring for cleaner signal transmission, and swapped the felt mat for a rubber platter mat to reduce static and vibration even further. Add the 5-layered lacquer finish, and you have a turntable that looks and sounds very impressive.
TT-4 Special Edition is for vinyl enthusiasts who want something that looks and sounds exclusive and refined. An excellent turntable that feels special and delivers a detailed, refined sound.

TT Signature: True High-End
The TT Signature is a high-end turntable experience, built for pure performance and for listeners who want nothing less than perfection.
At its heart sits the Ortofon 2M Black cartridge, fitted with a Shibata-shaped stylus – an extremely sharp profile that reaches deeper into the groove and captures every last detail from your records. The result is a sound that feels alive, natural, and effortlessly precise.
Every detail is engineered for perfection. The floating suspension system decouples the mains bearing from the plinth, which, along with upgraded isolation feet, eliminates almost all unwanted vibrations. A photo-sensor-controlled motor ensures rock-steady speed, keeping your records perfectly in time.
Finished in real wood veneer, TT Signature looks as extraordinary as it sounds.
This is the turntable for listeners who want the best music experience, period.
