The ALTO55’s on the other hand, look sleek, minimalistic and great in your living room. You know, where you live, and have to watch them every single day. THESE ARE PASSIVE SPEAKERS

The ALTO 55 MK2’s are passive speakers, meaning they require an amplifier to work. Passive speakers aren’t worse than their active counterparts, they just require a little bit more work to set up. The amp is where you’ll be streaming and plugging in all of your music. You can combine your new speakers with your granddad’s ancient homebuilt amp, which is beautiful in and of itself, or, if you don’t have one of those, our very own SA1 amplifier would be a great choice.
